It was September of 2022. I had 4 keynote talks in 4 different cities in one week. It was also my oldest daughter's first week of homeschool with a new teacher. When I booked all the talks, I did not know that she would need to do homeschool due to her disabilities. As I was on the trip, I was FULL of excitement and pride for my work and full of guilt and shame for not being home. It was an emotional roller coaster and at this point, I had not yet learned the active practice of Radical Acceptance of emotions.

This is accepting what you are feeling and being kind to yourself in the process.
